Edgar Bishop (b 1904-d 1943)


Joined Hills after the end of the first world war in 1918. Was one of William C Retford’s favourite pupils, and along with Albert Leeson made many of the highly acclaimed No 1 gold Fleur de lys bows. They became known as the “Gold Squad”. Died at an early age.

His bows for Hill are stamped with the number 2.
